George Eastman once stated that he hoped to make the Kodak camera as easy to use and and common as a pencil. We now live in a time when cameras, scanners, and image editing software and apaps are just as legitimate art making tools as pencils and paint brushes. I encourage students to be contend creators, not just digital consumers.

Here I took two shots of the same landscape, but focusing on different parts, thus resulting in different exposures. Then I used the Snapseed app to combine the two and added a frame with Instagram.
