Become a Problem Solver ● Act Responsibly ● Show Respect ● Be Here

Mr. Mallory’s Take, No Matter Where You Are
Become a Problem Solver
You can solve any problem anyway you’d like, so long as you don’t create a problem for anyone else.
Act Responsibly
We all need to learn how to meet our own needs without depriving others of opportunities to have their needs met as well.
Show Respect
How you treat others is a direct reflection of how you feel about yourself.
Be Here
90 of success is just showing up

CIVICS ROOM
Become a Problem Solver
If you’ve missed something, please check Google Classroom, Planbook.com, ask a classmate, or ask the teacher. The more genuine questions you ask, the more you learn. Use your resources, especially the textbook & the Constitution.
Act Responsibly
“Everyone has the right to education.” (UDHR ART. 26)
Please be responsible for your learning & your behavior. Please bring your textbook & materials to class. When you listen, you learn. Please honor your classmates’ right to learn in a safe, respectful environment.
Show Respect
“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” (UDHR ART.1)
One of the best ways to protect your own rights is to protect & promote the rights of others. Treat others the way you would like them to treat you.
Be Here
Please be on time and don’t be absent if you can help it. But while you’re here- “be here,” focus on what we’re learning (practice mindfulness).

ART ROOM
Become a Problem Solver
Creativity is facing challenges and meeting them. Develop an “Art Mindset.”
Act Responsibly
Choose to pursue and improve the eight Studio Habits of Mind.
Show Respect
Please take care of art supplies, be careful with classmates’ artworks, and their personal space.
Be Here
The Art Room is where the art supplies are. Things are made here. Skills are built here. Learning happens here.
