I teach a variety of undergraduate and credential courses.  In many of my courses, students are expected to do readings from texts, articles and websites.  Getting them to read and respond is always a challenge, and I have several alternate, art-based response prompts for them. One of these asks students to sum up the main points of the article using a Cootie Catcher (or Fortune Teller) format.  Here are a few examples:
