My poetry and essays have appeared in Journal of the Assembly for Expanded Perspectives on Learning (2014), the Ohio Journal of Language Arts (2014), Poems Across the Big Sky II: An Anthology of Montana Poets (Many Voices Press, 2016), Bright Bones: Contemporary Montana Writing, (Open Country Press, 2018), and Permafrost (2019).
In 2019, my chapbook, Bitterroot, was published as an award-winner with Finishing Line Press and launched from the Wick Poetry Center in Ohio.
I have read my work at numerous poetry celebrations and conferences, including the Wick Poetry Center and the Montana Festival of the Book. I have also served as visiting writer in numerous schools, and in 2009, was a Writer in Residence for Calcutta Mercy Hospital in India (2009). From 2007-2008 I resided in the Cuyahoga Valley National as Writer in Residence with their Environmental Education Center.
Currently, I am on full-time faculty with Kent State University, where I teach poetry, fiction, Native American Literature and writing composition courses that focus on diversity and social justice.
