I came to understand the important relationship between students creating works and finding approprioate venues to display their work. I currently help students create, currate and display their work 9-12 times a year in museums, universities and local coffee shops. There is value in students understanding the relationship of 'having something to say' through their work and thinking of how these works engage an audience.
By the year of a school year my honors and AP students will be able to exhibit and present their work in a range of situations. They will be able to compare their own exhibition techniques with those of professional exhibitions and artists. >>exhibiting:presenting learning outcomes
