Set Design class and Independent Study students constructed an altar display for the skulls. As a theme they chose to go back to the beginning of the holiday and honor the Aztecs, Mayans, and other Mesoamerican cultures by building a miniature of a Mesoamerican pyramid. This pyramid is six feet square at its base and has four levels for display. The pyramid is constructed from plywood, 1 by 3’s, and rigid foam.
