Welcome!  This is Debi West's site and it's full of "ARTSTUFF"!  Please know that I am excited to share lesson ideas, presentations, student successes and successful teaching strategies with you all! 

I think we are all better educators when we work together! 

I am a nationally board certified art teacher in my 20th year of teaching.  I am currently the visual art department chair and fine art department co-chair at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA, and I own and teach at the Crystal Collage Children's Art Studio, also located in Suwanee GA!

I am mom to Croy and Carson and wife to Chuck and I adore my animals, a black lab named Dakoda and a sweet cat, Caden Spot!  We love to travel and we adore the beach. 

Although I have dealt with a major tradegy in my life, I am thankful for every day and I can honestly say that "ART SAVES LIVES"... it has certainly saved mine!

Art Education is not only my job, it is my life, my hobby and my passion!
