About Alyssa LeLeux
Alyssa LeLeux is an Art Education major at The University of Texas at Austin. She has years of art education experience. She first started as an art teacher at the age of 16 years old. She worked as a Teen Intern at the Traveling ART Studio in New Braunfels, Texas for 3 years. She worked with children and adults of all ages. Taught the elderly and worked with special need students. Now, she currently works as an intern at the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, Texas. She works for the Education Department, creating lesson plans, gallery tours and new education programs for the community. Alyssa still works as an artist. She is primarily a painter but also enjoys sculpture, photography and performance art. She is extremely passionate about art education and is interested in studying Museum Education and/or Art Therapy in Graduate school in the future.
