Sequence

Summary:

Introducing the Big Idea, Sequence, students learned about the Mexican artist Humberto Ramos, a comic book illustrator and co-writer of the book Fairy Quest.  Students learned the importance to tell a story writing a proper sequence and also learned the technical and visual aspects to the creation of a comic page.   Through the creation of their own altered fairy tale, students worked through the steps of planning, writing, penciling, inking, coloring  and typography for their comic page while applying the technical skills demonstrated in class with good craftsmanship.   Through the project students wrote their complete new fairy tale and peer evaluated writings and drawings.
